Hi, I’m Rachel, mother of two amazing kids. One of my children is Level 2 Autistic, a Gestalt Language Processor, and has developmental delays. Being his mom has been the greatest teacher of my life.
I grew up on Long Island, where there were endless resources for families with special-needs children. When my husband and I moved to Milford, Pennsylvania, I had no idea how different things were. Once we decided homeschooling was best for our family, I realized just how hard it was to find groups, support, and resources for families like mine.
I’ve devoted my life to supporting my son, strengthening my family, and helping to create a community of thriving special needs learners and families. I am determined to address and fill this critical gap in our community. Through Adam’s Village, I am working to bring together specialists in Special Education, Autism support, and intellectual and developmental disabilities to provide opportunities for both parents and children.
Adam’s Village is about connection. It’s about coming together to help support our children. We’re building something that offers classes (both in-person and virtual), resources, and real-life community for families who are homeschooling their special-needs children, not just here in PA, but beyond.
My vision for Adam’s Village is to create a sustainable, collaborative network that offers educational support, community events, and professional expertise assuring that families of homeschooled children with special needs are not isolated but empowered.
This is my hope, my passion, and my purpose: that no family walking this road will feel like they’re doing it alone.
Thank you for your support!
